Emerson Network Power

Emerson is a global provider of various equipment.

One division – Emerson Network Power – is primarily involved with power and cooling of critical equipment, e.g. computer room data centres.

When Emerson won a large project to supply a unique design cooling system to Telstra mobile phone stations, they engaged the services of Trang Imagineering.

The project was highly fast-tracked, with little time for refined development.

Conditions included:

• A limited schedule of 13 weeks, from commencement to delivery, of 100 a/c units

• The parts and assemblies designed needed to go straight into production, with no opportunity for prototyping

Subsequent orders of the resulting product have proved the project’s outstanding success.
